Terms question?

These Website Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the website where they are posted (the "Site"), operated by Zu Group Inc ("Zu Group," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

01 / Agreement

Agreement and scope.

The Site presents Zu Group's portfolio, capabilities, point of view, and contact information. These Terms govern website access only. They do not create a production agreement, retainer, agency relationship, partnership, employment relationship, fiduciary duty, or other professional engagement.

If you use the Site on behalf of a company or another organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02 / Services

Client services require a signed agreement.

A project begins only when Zu Group and the client accept a written proposal, statement of work, service agreement, or other contract. That signed agreement controls the actual engagement, including:

  • Scope, deliverables, schedule, crew, locations, and production requirements.
  • Pricing, deposits, invoicing, expenses, late payments, refunds, and taxes.
  • Revisions, approvals, change orders, cancellation, rescheduling, and weather.
  • Ownership, licenses, raw footage, project files, music, stock assets, and usage rights.
  • Confidentiality, platform access, releases, portfolio permission, retention, and liability.

If a signed client agreement conflicts with these Website Terms, the signed agreement controls for that client engagement.

03 / License

Your limited right to use the Site.

Subject to these Terms, Zu Group grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to view and use the Site for lawful informational purposes and to evaluate whether to contact us.

No other right or license is granted. Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, download, screen-record, capture, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content unless the applicable rights holder gives written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

04 / Ownership

Site content and portfolio rights.

The Site and its original design, layout, copy, graphics, code, and Zu Group branding are owned by Zu Group or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Portfolio films and photographs may include client names, client logos, trademarks, music, artwork, locations, performances, products, and likenesses owned or controlled by clients or other licensors. Those rights remain with their respective owners. Portfolio content is displayed where the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and releases have been obtained or contractually warranted.

Viewing a project does not give you permission to reuse its footage, stills, audio, music, artwork, marks, copy, or likenesses. Examples are provided to show the type and quality of work we produce, not to promise identical creative or business results.

You may not remove watermarks, credits, copyright notices, metadata, or other rights-management information. You also may not use a person's image, voice, performance, or likeness from the Site to create a clone, synthetic performance, endorsement, or misleading association.

If you believe Site content infringes rights you own, email zu@zugroup.net with your contact information, identification of the protected work, the specific Site material and location, and enough information for us to evaluate the notice.

05 / Conduct

Prohibited conduct.

You may not:

  • Use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • Probe, scan, attack, disable, overload, or interfere with the Site or its security.
  • Use malicious automation, scraping, extraction, or collection tools to reproduce or build a commercial dataset from Site content.
  • Use Site content to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, evaluate, ground, or otherwise develop an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model without written permission.
  • Extract frames, stills, audio, voices, faces, captions, metadata, or other elements to create a dataset, model input, synthetic media, unauthorized advertising, or commercial derivative.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls or gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or nonpublic resources.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with Zu Group or a client.
  • Remove ownership notices, frame the Site misleadingly, or suggest endorsement without written permission.

Ordinary browser use, legitimate search-engine indexing, and sharing a link to a public page are permitted as long as they do not misrepresent the content or violate another person's rights.

06 / Inquiries

Project inquiries and materials you send.

A consultation request, email, call, estimate, or discussion does not obligate either party and does not reserve a production date. Service descriptions, turnaround ranges, equipment lists, and examples on the Site are informational and may change.

If you send materials before a signed agreement, you represent that you have the right to send them and authorize Zu Group to review them solely to evaluate the inquiry. Do not send trade secrets, confidential credentials, or highly sensitive personal information unless we have agreed in writing on how it will be handled.

Once a project is signed, the client agreement controls rights, confidentiality, access, and use of client-provided materials.

07 / Specialized work

AI, marketing, drone, and production information.

AI-assisted and automation services

Descriptions of AI-assisted creative work, marketing systems, websites, automation, and custom assistants are general information. Actual tools, data handling, human review, ownership, usage rights, and provider terms depend on the signed project scope.

AI-assisted material can contain errors, resemble other material, be unavailable, or have limits on exclusivity and copyright protection. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, the Site does not guarantee that an AI-assisted output will be unique, error-free, noninfringing, registrable, or suitable for a particular use.

Marketing and business outcomes

Portfolio examples, strategy descriptions, and marketing statements are not guarantees of reach, ranking, leads, engagement, sales, revenue, or any other business outcome. Results depend on factors outside Zu Group's control.

Drone and location work

Drone, FPV, aerial, location, and live production work remains subject to airspace authorization, property permission, safety, weather, venue rules, equipment limits, and applicable law. Project-specific requirements belong in the signed agreement and production plan.

08 / Third parties

Links, embeds, and third-party services.

The Site uses or may use services operated by others, including Vimeo, Google Fonts, Instagram, Google Analytics when analytics is allowed, and Meta Pixel when advertising is configured and allowed. Third-party services may change, become unavailable, or operate under separate terms and privacy policies.

Independent websites and services that we merely link to operate under their own terms and policies. Zu Group does not control their content, availability, or practices. This does not limit our responsibility for the providers we select to process information on our behalf. A link or embed does not necessarily mean Zu Group endorses every statement, product, or practice on that service.

09 / Disclaimers

Website disclaimers.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available" for general informational purposes. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, current, complete, or error-free.

We may update, remove, replace, or reorganize Site content at any time. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, accounting, employment, or other regulated professional advice.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10 / Liability

Limitation of liability for Site use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zu Group and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising solely from access to or use of the Site or third-party links and embeds.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zu Group's total liability for all claims arising solely from use of the Site will not exceed $100. This website-specific limitation does not replace or modify the liability terms in a signed client agreement and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11 / Law

Florida law and general terms.

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising solely from these Terms or use of the Site must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits a non-waivable privacy, consumer-protection, or intellectual-property right provided by applicable law.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written permission. Zu Group may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, sale, or transfer of the Site or business.

12 / Updates

Changes and contact.

We may update these Terms as the Site or law changes. Updates apply prospectively from the effective date shown above. Your continued use of the Site after that date means the updated Terms govern future use.
